Only the storage needed for your academic workspace should run by default.
XYSHIMA Uni uses essential browser technologies for your sign-in and requested features. Optional tracking must not operate without a valid choice where consent is legally required.
1. Essential browser storage
Local storage and session technologies can keep you signed in, remember your selected theme, support security checks, preserve your requested workspace state and prevent session disruption. This storage is required for functions you ask the platform to perform. Disabling it in your browser may prevent sign-in or reset your preferences.
2. Optional analytics
Optional product analytics is not necessary for Uni to function. Uni must not set optional tracking identifiers or send optional analytics events before an affirmative, specific choice where consent is required. The current Uni interface does not offer an optional-analytics opt-in, so no optional analytics should be activated until a suitable consent control and withdrawal mechanism are implemented.
3. Third-party services
Authentication and infrastructure services, including Supabase and Cloudflare, may use essential security or session technologies. If you initiate payment through PayPal, its own checkout pages have their own cookies and privacy information. Requested AI functions may use service providers described in the Service Providers Notice.
4. Browser controls and privacy rights
You can clear Uni browser storage in your browser settings, although doing so may sign you out. For questions about personal data, access, export, correction or deletion, see the Uni Privacy Notice, use Settings → Data & Privacy after sign-in, or email support@xyshima.com.
